What does it mean to be Asian American?

Asian Americans are people who live in the United States from Asian ancestry. I would also say whoever legally immigrated from Asia is Asian American. We are different skin color & have different language - Asians are different too. Asian people always are hard workers. I feel that I live here, and I am American too.

What motivates you to do what you do everyday?

Freedom to do everything. And, going to work because I have to pay bills, pay for my home, and pay to take care of my health.

Ethnic background(s): Chinese
Current city & state: Edina, Minnesota

What can’t you live without? Health

What brings you joy?

My health and working with people. When family times are together, or when I go out to the nature - being outdoors - that is what brings me joy. For me it is very simple!

What is your wish for the United States? Treat everyone fairly.

What role do you play, or want to play in making that wish come true? I think my role is to love the world; showing the love and peace.

Anything else you wish to say about being Asian American? I am happy being Asian American so that I can show friendships to the different races.

“I am happy being Asian American so that
I can show friendships to the different races.”
